Audience:
Children grades 4 and 5 and their parents/caregivers
Challenge:
To position Reynolds Metals as a socially responsible company whose foil products can be recycled rather than placed in landfills
The JMH Solution:
JMH created Wrap Up a Cleaner World - a hands-on classroom campaign that included an interactive poster and a teacher's guide filled with environmental/service-learning based activities. The program engaged 4th and 5th grade students, teachers, and parents in the topic of recycling and the role aluminum foil plays as a sound environmental choice. An innovative poster included "mystery windows" that posed questions about recycling. Once answered, the windows opened to reveal The Road to Recycling, a full-color "illustrated town" that allowed students to follow the "life" of recycled products.
