To enable teachers to teach the important topic of oral health during today's school day, which is typically short on time.
The JMH Solution:
Improving literacy is one of the most important initiatives in schools today. JMH created the Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures (BSBF) program to fit into the existing curriculum, using oral health activities to teach literacy.Program ambassadors Dr. Rabbit and Dr. Brushwell engage children with Dr. Rabbit and The Legend of Tooth Kingdom – an animated video journey that serves as the springboard to other classroom components and in-school literacy activities. The Family Take-home Packet features games, parent education and product samples.
The current program also features a How to Have a Bright Smile DVD, which teaches children the importance of brushing their teeth while providing them with step-by-step instructions on how to properly do so. An Oral Health Digest updates teachers on the latest oral health information.
